Smith & Wesson Model 28-2 Highway Patrolman, serial number N32834, chambered in .357 Magnum. This is an early N-prefix revolver dating to approximately 1971–1972, built on S&W’s legendary N-Frame—the same robust frame as the Model 27, but with the practical, duty-ready matte-polished blue finish that the Highway Patrolman series is famous for.
This revolver has been fully inspected, cleaned, and oiled by Shepard Arms. It locks up tight, cycles smoothly, and has a bright, mirror-clean bore with crisp rifling. Chambers are clean, timing is excellent, and the revolver performs exactly as a classic S&W should.
Included with this revolver is a period-correct, original Smith & Wesson leather duty holster (Patent #3,942,692). The holster is in very good condition and is an excellent collectible piece alongside this vintage service revolver.
Additional Notes:
The serial number (N32834) is correctly stamped on the bottom/rear of the grip frame, consistent with early-1970s Smith & Wesson N-frame production.
