Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Harrington & Richardson (H&R) Model 929 "Sidekick" revolver. Manufactured in Gardner, Massachusetts in 1974, this classic double-action 9-shot .22 LR revolver represents an era of well-built, reliable American plinkers. Finding one of these swing-out cylinder revolvers in this condition is getting harder, but finding one complete with its original factory cardboard box and Harrington & Richardson congratulatory paperwork makes this a fantastic collector and shooter piece.
Shepard Arms Condition Report:
This revolver has been inspected by our shop and remains in exceptional condition for its age.
Finish/Metal: The factory blued finish is deep and glossy, showing very minimal wear. There is a very faint turn line on the 9-shot cylinder, consistent with light use or handling.
Action: The swing-out cylinder mechanism operates smoothly, and the DA/SA trigger functions flawlessly.
Grips: The original black checkered plastic grips with the H&R logo are in pristine shape with no visible cracks or chips.
Accessories: Includes the original serialized box (showing some expected shelf wear on the edges) with the correct blue insert, along with the original green H&R instruction/warranty paper.
