Introduced in 1972 as a high-quality rimfire companion to the legendary Model 94, the 9422 is widely considered one of the finest, best-built lever-action .22s ever produced by Winchester. Designed to flawlessly cycle .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle interchangeably, this rifle features a 20-inch barrel, a hooded front sight, and traditional straight-grip walnut furniture. This specific rifle also comes equipped with a mounted scope on raised rings, ready for the range or the squirrel woods.

Receiver & Metal: The factory bluing is deep, rich, and highly polished, showcasing the premium fit and finish characteristic of early 9422 production.
Action: The forged steel action is exceptionally slick. The lever throws with the glass-like smoothness that made this model famous.
Bore: The bore is bright with strong, crisp rifling.
Wood: The uncheckered walnut stock and forend are in excellent shape, displaying beautiful grain with a well-preserved original finish and the factory Winchester buttplate.
