The DR920 Elite is designed and engineered with performance and reliability under extreme conditions in mind. Every aspect of the DR920 from materials to features is selected based on the idea that every pistol is a "duty pistol." Enhanced ergonomics and custom features such as the aggressive texture on the frame, the undercut trigger guard, extended beaver tail, recoil control ledge work together to increase control of the pistol and mitigate recoil. A Picatinny accessory rail lets you mount lights or lasers as well. An improved trigger guard provides extra space when wearing gloves. Safety is built into the DR920 pistol. The DR920 uses a passive 3-safety system to prevent unintentional firing of the pistol. The articulated trigger safety prevents rearward movement of the trigger unless the trigger is pressed. The striker is blocked from forward movement by the striker block and trigger bar unless the trigger is pressed. Shadow Systems has invented a better mouse trap and now is the time to pick one up.
