Shepard Arms is pleased to offer this classic Ruger P89 chambered in 9mm Luger. Introduced in the late 1980s as a rugged, no-nonsense duty pistol, the P-Series autos are legendary for being built like absolute tanks. Utilizing a hard-coat anodized aluminum frame and a massive chrome-molybdenum steel slide, these pistols are known to eat any ammunition and keep running.
Based on the serial number (309-02250), this specific P89 was manufactured around 1994. It operates on a reliable Double-Action/Single-Action (DA/SA) system and features slide-mounted ambidextrous safety/decocker levers. A notable upgrade on this model is the installation of Hogue rubber wrap-around grips with finger grooves, which vastly improve the ergonomics and recoil management over the original slick plastic panels. It ships complete in its original factory hard case.
