Up for sale is a beautiful, mid-1990s classic: the Remington Model 320 Peerless Field over/under shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge.
Manufactured during a short, highly regarded production window in the 1990s, the Peerless was Remington's answer to the modern upland hunting market. Based on the "D7" barrel code and serial number (RP012751), this specific shotgun dates to September 1996, placing it squarely in the mature production run of this model.
Condition Report: This shotgun is in excellent condition and has clearly spent the vast majority of its life in a climate-controlled safe. It has been professionally cleaned and inspected.
Metal Finish: The deep factory bluing on the receiver and 28" Light Contour barrels is in fantastic shape. The distinctive decorative sideplates are pristine. There is only very minor, honest handling wear.
Wood Furniture: The checkered American Walnut stock and forend are gorgeous, boasting rich grain patterns. There are only very minor, superficial blemishes commensurate with a gun that was carefully carried on a few select hunts. No cracks or deep gouges.
Mechanics: The action is tight and locks up perfectly. The gold-plated mechanical single selective trigger is crisp, and the ejectors are strong. The bores are bright and mirror-like.
